On February 13, 2026 the university’s Architectural Design Department held an open presentation of student projects completed within the framework of the Learning by Serving program. This program was launched in 2024 by the Russian Government with the purpose of involving young people in socially important project activities for the benefit of society. So the students weren't just working for credit—their social projects can be brought to life!
The students developed 18 architectural designs for small public buildings. All work was completed at the request of the regional government’s Capital Construction Administration. Seven student projects have already been included in the regional Capital Construction Program, including schools and sports centers for young people.
The presentation was made for the officials from the Capital Construction Administration, who noted that the architectural ideas proposed by the students were interesting and viable. It can be hoped that some of these student ideas will become actual buildings in which young people will be able to study, play sports, and develop their skills.
