An exhibition of academic paintings has opened in the exhibition hall of the Ural State University of Architecture and Art (USUAA).
The paintings on display are students’ best coursework and final projects demonstrating their mastery of academic easel painting techniques - all completed under the guidance of Alexey Tomilov, Associate Professor of the Easel Painting Department in supervised studio work.
The exhibition is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Alexey Tomilov’s teaching career at the USUAA, which is also the 20th anniversary of the classic Easel Painting Course at the university, This extensive six-years course ensures excellent preparation for an independent professional career in fine arts.
The exhibition will run until February 20, 2026.
