Rector of the University met and welcomed the new intake of students who are just starting their course
On September 3rd, Professor Alexander V.Dolgov, rector of the University, met and welcomed the new intake of students who are just starting their course, including international students. They have become members of the University’s large family.
He reassured the students that the university will care for them and provide all conditions for studies and interesting student life, and expressed hope that the students would cherish the traditions of the university and keep up its reputation.
Professor A.Dolgov called upon the new students to love their land, which is the secret to success: «Love and explore your native land and history of your family».
The students asked him what qualities would make them a desired professional for top-rated employers, and the rector gave a simple, wise answer:
Passion. Do what you love to do from day one, year one, and people will take note of you.
Creativity. Turn experience into real-life projects, participate in competitions, hakathons and other such activities.
Daring. Do not shy away from complex challenges. It is such challenges that shape a professional.
And the main thing: never lose your own self, preserve your unique traits, rely on your family and community. Protect them from everything that can take them away from you and betray you.
