The decorative art exhibition "Knight's Move" has opened in the halls of the Sverdlovsk Regional Branch of the Russian Union of Artists.
The format of the annual exhibition brings artists together and gives the joy of meetings on New Year's Eve!
The exhibition features works created in various forms and techniques of decorative art. Among the artworks are ones created by established masters, as well as by a large number of young artists and students, who add freshness, enthusiasm, and optimism to the exhibition.
The display shows textiles such as tapestry, batik, patchwork, experiments with threads and fibers, ceramics, enamel, wood, glass, and other forms of decorative art.
The exhibition's title evokes the Oriental symbol of the coming year; various images of horses greet the viewer from the very first steps into the exhibition.
"Knight's Move" is both a chess term and an expression symbolizing an unstoppable movement forward, toward new horizons. We invite everyone to the exhibition and wish you a Happy New Year 2026!
